I'm thrilled to announce the launch event for my debut novel, Fire and Ice. This will take place in Holmfirth Library, West Yorkshire, on the 30th of November from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. The event will be a joint 'Local Author's Evening' with local author Christine Longden.
I have have always loved reading and find in it a way of escaping from reality. I look forward to meeting you at my book launch and will talk about the book, how I write and other stories that are on the way.
Chris Longden has just had 'Cuckoo in the Chocolate' published which she describes as a satirical comedy with a spash of political satire and north versus south predujice. The book was written in Holmfirth library and is her 2nd published novel. Chris is a strong supporter of libraries and will talk about their importance to her as well as how her books are written and some of her own life journey from the desert to the Holme valley.
Both Chris and myself are keen to promote reading and the imaginative journeys waiting for you all...
